Key Duties
The Senior Sales Manager (Packaging Materials) is responsible for leading and managing all strategic sales planning and ensuring its execution while maintaining relationships with major packaging and material processing customers in Philippines. The role is focused on commercial leadership, strengthening customer satisfaction, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver both commercial and technical solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Commercial leadership - Develops sales and marketing plans, budgets, and resource allocation based on market analysis, while monitoring target achievement and reporting progress to management; and lead and develop the team to achieve sales targets, strengthen performance, and ensure operational excellence and compliance
- Direct Sales & Opportunity Development - Drive sales and business development through customer-focused solutions, commercial negotiations, contract execution, and relationship management, while analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market presence
- Sales Planning & Reporting - Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline planning to support effective sales performance management and target achievement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with solid sales experience within relevant industry
- Minimum 13 - 15 years of experience in the role of Sales Manager and manages own team in the packaging and material industry, having existing business network is a plus
- Solid understanding of recycling technologies, extrusion processes or waste management solutions is highly preferred
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales target in B2B sales environment
- Able to manage and close sales pipeline and deals and provide tailored solutions based on customer needs
- A solution-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients optimize their operations with advanced technology
- Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English
- Digitally savvy and proficient in MS Office applications and other relevant applications
- Capable of identifying customer requirements and translating them into practical solutions
- Readiness to travel frequently
