Our client is a Philippine-owned manufacturer of concrete and precast products, with a history dating back to 1948.

The company specializes in the manufacturing of high-strength, load-bearing concrete hollow blocks for the B2B construction market. Its product portfolio also includes precast and pre-stressed flooring systems, such as T-Joists/T-Beams, ribbed and half slabs, hollow core slabs, and prefabricated J-Wall partition walls.

The company serves customers across the construction industry, including major developers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders. Its established hollow block business primarily serves horizontal housing developers, while its precast product portfolio presents an important area for further market development.

The company operates an office in Makati, Metro Manila, and a manufacturing facility in Bacolor, Pampanga.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Marketing Manager is a new position created to strengthen marketing capabilities and support its business objectives.

The Marketing Manager will bring strong expertise in marketing, lead generation, brand management, and market development.

The role will work closely with the Sales and Manufacturing teams.

A key business opportunity is the development and marketing of precast slab products, including hollow core, ribbed, and half slabs.

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

• At least 5 years of marketing experience .
• Strong marketing or business development experience.
• B2B experience is preferred.
• Experience in construction, building materials, cement, concrete, or related industries is an advantage but not a requirement .
• The company places greater emphasis on marketing experience than technical construction experience .
• Candidates from other industries may be considered, including candidates from FMCG or food, provided they have relevant marketing experience.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Develop short-term and long-term marketing plans.
• Support lead generation and market development activities.
• Provide marketing recommendations and input to management.
• Assess existing marketing and route-to-market approaches and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Lead Generation & Sales Support

• Work closely with the Sales team to support proactive lead generation and pipeline development.
• Develop marketing initiatives to generate leads and business opportunities.
• Support customer, project, influencer, and specifier engagement.
• Participate in customer and project-related activities with Sales.
• Prepare presentations and other marketing materials to support customer and sales activities.

Brand Management

• Manage and strengthen the brand.
• Develop brand-management initiatives across relevant marketing channels.
• Support market awareness and development of products.
• Develop company profiles, product materials, presentations, and other marketing collaterals

Digital & Traditional Marketing

• Manage digital marketing activities.
• Support the company's website and online inquiry channels.
• Manage social media marketing activities.
• Develop and implement email marketing and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Work with channels including Meta, Google Ads, SEO, and analytics.
• Develop marketing content.
• Utilize appropriate traditional marketing activities as part of the overall marketing strategy.

Events & Industry Engagement

• Manage participation in industry events and conventions such as Philconstruct and Worldbex.
• Develop the marketing objectives and rationale for participation in events.
• Support lead generation and brand-building activities through industry events.
• Coordinate relevant event-related marketing activities.

Market & Field Engagement

• Visit the manufacturing facility in Bacolor, Pampanga to understand the company's products and production flow.
• Visit construction project sites to understand the market, customer requirements, products, and route to market.
• Participate in project-site and customer visits with the Sales team.
• Engage with customers, influencers, specifiers, architects, and structural engineers.
• Engage with relevant industry organizations.
• Assess the company's existing route to market and provide recommendations based on market observations and experience.

Marketing Operations

• Manage marketing activities and initiatives.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and marketing resources as required.
• Manage marketing-related budgets, subject to management approval.
• Develop marketing materials and presentations.
• Initially operate within a lean marketing structure, with the opportunity to develop a marketing team as projects and initiatives require additional support.
