About the role
As a Technical Account Manager, you will serve as the primary technical liaison for our key accounts, ensuring seamless implementation and optimization of our systems engineering solutions.Key responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client accounts, providing expert guidance on systems engineering solutions and best practices
Manage the technical implementation and deployment of systems solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Conduct regular technical assessments of client infrastructure and systems to identify optimization opportunities and potential improvements
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, system architectures, and configuration guides tailored to client requirements
Provide proactive technical support and troubleshooting to resolve complex systems issues and minimize downtime
Collaborate with internal technical teams to translate client requirements into actionable implementation strategies
Train client teams on system functionality, administration, and best practices to ensure effective utilization of deployed solutions
Monitor system performance and health metrics, delivering regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client needs and system usage patterns
Maintain detailed account records and ensure timely follow-up on client requests and technical matters
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
3-5 years of experience in a technical account management, systems engineering, or similar client-facing technical role
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including architecture design, integration, and deployment methodologies
Demonstrated experience managing complex technical implementations and resolving system-related challenges
Excellent technical documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in systems analysis tools, infrastructure monitoring platforms, and configuration management systems
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in systems engineering and IT operations
Strong project management capabilities and experience working with cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client issues
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships over time
Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, or network systems is highly desirable
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, AWS, Azure, or PMP are advantageous but not essential
