TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position is primarily responsible in providing technical service and support to ensure sales development of the Nezus products. The focus is to work on strengthening market presence of Nezus and to be a leading supplier of innovative nutritional products for swine, poultry and aquaculture.

The position is also tasked to lead and manage the sales operations of the assigned Sales Team to ensure continuous sales growth and development.

This position is responsible for managing the South Luzon and Visayas-Mindanao (VisMin) areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Responsibilities:

a. Provides technical assistance and support to the assigned Sales Team, customers and distributors in terms of providing technical documents, conducting technical visits/ discussions and providing other services that can be offered to existing and prospect customers.

b. Develops plans and programs for the assigned products, ensure the implementation of the same in order to achieve agreed sales and product development targets.

c. Develops technical materials for presentation and discussion to key clients to help the sales team promote the products to key customers and opinion dealers and therefore generate sales.

d. Organizes and facilitates technical meetings and learning sessions for the sales team, customers and distributors.

e. Initiates, plans and coordinates logistical requirements for seminars and conferences conducted for customers and prospects.

f. Coordinates and implements technical visits of principals to various customers to help ensure that products are promoted to key clients.

Sales Responsibilities:

a. Prepares sales forecasts, sets sales targets of the assigned Sales Team and submits to the General Manager for approval.

b. Develops sales and marketing programs in order to achieve agreed sales targets and product development targets and coordinates the effective implementation of the same among all concerned.

c. Monitors performance of the assigned Sales Team, undertakes regular analysis of performance against targets and recommends and implements appropriate measures to ensure consistent high level of productivity.

d. Reviews and analyzes proposals of the assigned Sales Team; prepares and submits appropriate and well-studied recommendations to the General Manager.

e. Ensures timely and efficient collection of accounts and prevents any bad debt which may affect Company’s cash flow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science, specializing in poultry and swine nutrition. Minimum of one (1) year technical experience in animal health and nutrition.

b. Sales management experience is an advantage.

c. Team player, self-motivated and willing to accept responsibilities. Pro-active, willing to learn and with a positive attitude.

d. With excellent communication skills and has good attention to details.

e. Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

f. Must have a valid driver’s license
