IT Specialist

The IT Specialist is a strategic position that plays a pivotal role in the data integrity of key My Amazon Guy functions. The position is responsible for assisting the CTO and IT Department, maintaining and enhancing dashboards, data models, and data pipelines. Possess advanced analytical and decision-making skills.

The role requires someone who is passionate about data quality, data analytics, and automation in order to drive business strategy. An ability to be an expert in problem-solving, critical thinking and an understanding of complex system dependencies are essential in enabling the IT Manager to show where My Amazon Guy processes are broken and how those processes are affecting key data points. An individual with a strong passion to solve problems and improve data integrity will excel in this position.

**Key Responsibilities**

1\. Must be an effective communicator, a good listener, and have strong interpersonal skills that will assist in cross-team collaboration.

2\. Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.

* Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
* Proficient with computer security systems (Anti-Virus, Firewall, Two-Factor Authentication).

3\. Ability to understand and create charts, graphs, and data visualization models.

* Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite applications
* Experience with Microsoft Office

4\. Aptitude for learning new/different processes within the company to better understand other data architectures and workflows.

* Knowledge of monday.com

5\. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize

* Dedication to excellence and a quality output

6\. Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress)

* Deep knowledge and understanding of company systems including but not limited to 1Password, Airtable, Amazon Seller Central, Asana, Google Workspace, Helium 10, HubSpot, Jotform, Microsoft Office, Monday, Slack, Time Doctor, WordPress, and Zapier.

7\. Knowledge of API development for database integration desired but not mandatory

8\. Naturally creative and technology-focused

* Have a good understanding of marketing communications and available technology and have the ability to apply the latest technology to company marketing needs

9\. Work effectively under tight deadlines

* Be a team person who supports co-workers and management as needed
* Have the ability to communicate well and work well with people from various parts of the company and from different cultures

10\. General marketing and online marketing understanding

* Experience managing websites

**Qualifications**

* 1+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk role
* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Operations Management, Data Science, or other Quantitative Field preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask and prioritize

* Expert in problem-solving, critical thinking, and an understanding of complex system dependencies

**Technical Requirements**

* A computer with dual monitor setup is required
* Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
* Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
