Accounting Manager

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance of our group of companies.
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations across multiple companies and business units
Supervise the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other accounting reports
Ensure accurate recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of financial transactions
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Ensure timely preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and compliance with government regulations
Monitor and review financial records, expenses, revenues, and intercompany transactions
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies
Establish and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Supervise and evaluate accounting personnel and ensure timely submission of reports
Provide Management with accurate financial information and recommendations
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR possess extensive and proven experience in accounting management, financial reporting, and taxation
At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities
Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR taxation, and statutory compliance
Experience handling multiple companies, mall operations, property management, or food retail businesses is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines
