JOB QUALIFICATION
- Familiar with procurement and materials management for the heavy equipment industry
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Apps, Forms and ERP Systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Open-minded, willing to learn, and capable of multitasking
- Well-organized with excellent monitoring and filing capabilities
- Positive attitude, determined and willing to work extended hours if needed
- Results-oriented and a problem-solver
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Supply Chain Department with the following tasks:
Sourcing and canvassing requested goods/services in compliance with BMM
Convert requests into orders, monitor deliveries, close them in the system
Assist in updating monitoring files for report submissions
Manage vendor management including accreditation and performance evaluation
Monitor inventory lists for proper processing of requests
Support duties and responsibilities outlines in the BMM for the Procurement Specialist role, contributing to the goals of the Supply Chain Manager and the entire Supply Chain Department
