PANGASINAN, LA UNION, ILOCOS SUR, BATAAN, TARLAC, PAMPANGA, BULACAN
Responsibilities
- Schedules daily activities of field crews and prepare daily time records.
- Assists Field Agronomist in certifying seed field isolation before and after planting.
- Monitors planting, ensure 95% field emergence.
- Ensures that irrigation schedules are implemented before planting, fertilizer application and during pre and post
- pollination stages of the crop. Coordinates schedule of irrigation with
- Irrigators Association and Growers. For rainfed he must ensure that soil moisture is sufficient for field emergence and growth of crop.
- Ensure effective and timely application of fertilizers and pesticides.
- Leads crew in performing rouging, clean-up and hand pollination as necessary.
- Organize, train, deploy and evaluate performance of detasselers.
- Assign harvesters and dispatch haulers.
- Collects Agronomic and Quality related data.
- Assists Field Agronomist in accomplishing ISO Records
Preferred candidates:
- Has farm work experience especially in the growing up to harvesting corn.
- Can endure different weather conditions.
- Has good communication and coordination skills
- Has excellent people management skills.
