Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely, high-quality, and efficient delivery of projects through effective planning, coordination, and monitoring of team performance, project milestones, stakeholder expectations, and overall progress.
Main Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, team structure, budget considerations, and resource allocation
- Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones and cost estimates together with the team
- Lead project kick-off meetings and align expectations with stakeholders and team members
Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead sprint meetings and ensure project progress aligns with planned timelines and estimates
- Identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions without compromising overall project goals
- Monitor project tracking systems (e.g., TFS), ensuring accurate and timely reporting and team compliance
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular project updates and performance reports
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment of priorities across all parties
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Ensure timely resolution of project issues and concerns
- Manage change requests and assess their impact on delivery while ensuring stakeholder alignment
Quality Assurance
- Oversee testing phases including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality standards are met
- Recommend process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency
Deployment & Closure
- Ensure proper project turnover to relevant stakeholders
- Conduct post-deployment evaluation for improvements and innovation
- Finalize all project documentation and reports
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT or SaaS environments
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making ability
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams effectively
Additional Advantages
- Experience with SaaS platforms, HRIS, ERP, or similar business systems
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) is a plus
- Familiarity with project management tools and performance tracking systems
- Knowledge of business analysis, requirements gathering, and technical writing
