Food Server

The Food Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to meet customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
• Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure all items meet quality standards.

Order Management:

• Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with attention to detail.
• Verify food orders before serving to ensure accuracy.

Dining Area Maintenance:

• Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and serving areas.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist coworkers during peak times or busy shifts.

Payment Handling:

• Present bills, accept payments, and provide change or receipts.
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods securely and accurately.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous experience in food service, customer service, or hospitality (preferred but not always required).

Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards (preferred).
