- A Clinic Assistant provides essential support to healthcare professionals and helps ensure the smooth operation of a medical clinic. Their duties typically involve a combination of administrative tasks, patient care assistance, and maintaining clinic organization.
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients and visitors as they arrive at the clinic.Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.Schedule appointments, handle cancellations, and confirm patient bookings.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.Completion of a clinic assistant or medical office assistant program may be preferred.Basic knowledge of medical terminology may be beneficial.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative role is helpful but not always required.
