Leasing Assistant Job Description:
Customer Service and Client Interaction:
- Greet prospective tenants and assist with inquiries about available properties.
- Provide information on lease terms, property features, amenities, and rental rates.
- Schedule property tours and conduct showings for potential tenants.
Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare and maintain leasing documents, including lease agreements and applications.
- Process rental applications, conduct background and credit checks, and verify references.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant applications, leases, and payments.
- Assist with managing lease renewals and follow up on lease expirations.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- A college degree in business, real estate, or a related field may be preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in real estate, property management, or customer service is often preferred but not always required.
- Familiarity with property management software is an asset.
