Technical Sales Representative

Qualifications:
• Chemical Engineering/ Food Technology / Chemistry/ Pharmacy / Nutrition and Dietetics
• Other Qualifications: Food Technology Graduate, is advantage
• Strong market connections in food sectors (processed meat, bakery, snacks, sauces, condiments).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, willing to travel, and capable of working independently or in a team
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify customer needs and recommend specific food additives, functional ingredients, or specialty raw materials.
• Provide guide formulations for categories like beverage, confectionery, bakery, and meat processing.
• Work closely with in-house Food Application Laboratories to develop prototype samples for customers.
• Meet monthly and annual sales targets within an assigned territory or account list.
• Identify and prospect new manufacturers and market segments to expand the company’s footprint.
• Coordinate and supervise product trials and line tests at the customer’s facility to ensure the ingredient performs correctly in their production environment.
• Address technical issues or product failures by analyzing the chemistry/process and providing immediate corrective feedback.
• Monitor competitor pricing, new product launches, and market trends.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers to stay updated on product data sheets, regulatory compliance, and new ingredient innovations.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including proposing prices based on approved cost structures and coordinating with the Credit & Collection team to monitor receivables.
- Support inventory monitoring to ensure buffer stocks align with the demand of your key accounts.
