Station Accounting Supervisor - General Ledger

What is this role about?
This role will ensure the timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting principles and standards applicable to EFTI, SCI, and GUI. The position helps in providing reports and in analyzing the company’s financial performance to support the management in decision making.
What will YOU do?
- Check the trial balance and ensure accuracy of balances
- Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organization to ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards
- Initiate and validate accounting adjustments needed
- Ensure timely and accurate data is available for the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Supervise the team's work plan and ensure delivery of both functional and non-functional task
- Prepare and review the financial reports before submitting to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with other stakeholders in the Company to understand and assess the impact of Company initiatives and projects on financial activities
- Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time
What will YOU need?
- Certified Public Accountant
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Adept in project management, financial analysis & various accounting softwares (Netsuite, SAP)
- Demonstrate strong strategic and creative thinking skills, presentation skills, problem solving skills, leadership skills, people skills, etc.
- Must have people management experience
