Responsibilities - Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and convert them into Purchase Orders (PO) following company procedures
- Source and evaluate suppliers for eyewear frames, lenses, contact lenses, and clinic supplies
- Conduct price canvassing and cost comparison to ensure competitive pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with branches
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delays, and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts
- Inspect delivered items and ensure quality and completeness
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, expenses, and inventory status
- Assist in vendor negotiations to achieve better pricing and terms
- Coordinate with warehouse/store staff to ensure proper receiving and stocking
- Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement, or retail operations (optical/medical retail is an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
- Good negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and inventory systems
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
- Strong communication and coordination skills
