Accounting Manager

- Oversee and maintain the integrity of the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Supervise and review bank reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and general ledger account analyses.
- Manage and drive the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes; provide variance analysis and actionable insights to management.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial records and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate and lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring readiness and compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including performance management and training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
- Continuously improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience , with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role .
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency in accounting systems Oracle NetSuite, Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
