The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of merchandising projects, and providing operational and administrative support to achieve business objectives. The role supervises field teams, monitors project implementation, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality results.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and objectives are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer account management matters.
- Supervise area coordinators and operations teams in project implementation and monitoring.
- Prepare and submit cost estimates, budgets, and timely billing reports.
- Monitor deployment, attendance, and performance of field employees.
- Conduct trade visits, market monitoring, and provide feedback to clients on project performance and competitor activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles, warehousing systems, and merchandising materials.
- Review and ensure timely submission of required reports, including post-activity evaluations.
- Conduct regular coaching, performance appraisals, and KPI reviews with subordinates.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
- 98% deployment average and 96% attendance of field employees.
- 100% timely and accurate report compliance.
- Timely collection of deliverables vs. overdue.
- Compliance with store policies, GSP, PICOS, and training requirements.
- Effective management of inventory, product placement, and FEFO compliance.
- Zero unresolved theft or loss cases.
- Regular coaching and performance evaluations conducted on time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven work experience as Account Manager or in similar roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in people management (coaching, supervision, evaluation).
- Knowledge of MS Office; Canva AI or other AI tools is an advantage.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
- Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills in market and trade dynamics.
