Inventory Specialist

- Monitor & Control: Maintain optimal stock levels, preventing shortages (stockouts) or excess inventory (overstock).
- Accuracy: Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, resolving discrepancies to ensure records match physical stock.
- Coordination: Work with purchasing, production, sales, and warehouse teams to forecast needs and plan stock replenishment.
- System Management: Use inventory/ERP software for tracking, data entry, and generating reports.
- Receiving & Dispatch: Oversee the processing, stocking, and shipment of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicate with vendors for timely deliveries and to resolve issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend ways to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze data and resolve issues.
- Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate record-keeping and counting.
- Communication: Effectively liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS/ERP).
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep stock organized.
- Education: Often a Bachelor's in Logistics, Business, or a related field, with relevant experience.
