Accounting and Finance Staff

The Accounting and Finance Staff position assists the department officer, supervisor, and consultant in the TIMELY, ACCURATE, and COMPLETE preparation of all sales, expense, and tax documents and filings.

The general duties and responsibilities of this role is as follows:

• Ensure completeness and collates all sales report submissions across all branches daily.
• Acts as company liaison for credit card facilities (POS) and other payment gateway providers and ensures the TIMELY, CORRECT, and COMPLETE disbursement of all receivables across all branches weekly.
• Assists the finance and accounting officer and consultant in various Quickbooks report, filings, submissions, and disbursements.
• Assists the accountant in the TIMELY, ACCURATE, and COMPLETE submissions of all government tax compliance reports and disbursements.
• Assist the accountant in maintaining all bookkeeping records.
• Responsible for cashiering for any head office / non-branch sales transactions.
• Assist in the Preparation of weekly expense vouchers and ensures the TIMELY, CORRECT, and COMPLETE documentation prior to processing payouts.
• Prepares checks for approved expenses weekly and ensures the ACCURATE and COMPLETE reporting of these disbursements to accounting.
• Ensures all expense fillings and disbursements are properly documented, monitored, and filed.
• Assists and supports the department supervisor in Physical cash counting audits at the branches.
• Assists and supports the Department Supervisor in physical inventory counting audits at the branches and HQ.
• Conducts daily banking deposits and verifications, if necessary.
• Follows up sales documents required from branches and encodes verified sales on Quickbooks and manual books.
• Maintain and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Assist in keeping the finance procedures and policies updates and current.
• Prepares BIR 2307 for suppliers and Independent contractors.
• Ensures accuracy of encoding on Quickbooks.

* Performs other assigned tasks and prepares other assigned reports from time to time.

You shall also perform other tasks that are incidental or necessary for the accomplishment of the primary duties. You should be able to complete these properly before you are considered for regular employment.
