Branch Supervisor

Responsible for maintaining and overseeing daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storage; responsible for optimizing productivity and improves and/or develops warehouse work processes through strategic planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a program of study related to Logistic and Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration, Associate’s Degree or a combination of education and experience
- With at least 5 years experience as Supervisor, preferably in a related field.
- Strong background in Logistics Operations or E-Commerce.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of warehouse activities; receiving, material handling operations, methods and practices.
- Experience in using Warehouse Management System is a huge plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Thorough understanding on the optimization of service operations and standards of J&T Express to achieve success.
- Ability to prepare and present report in all mediums.
- Knowledgeable in Strategic Management with strong business acumen.
- Knowledge in performance evaluation metrics.
- Problem-solving abilities and can relate to all levels of organization hierarchy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible of the overall warehouse operations.
- Manage processes on receiving, storage, shelves, returns, inventory, storage management and other daily operations.
- Oversees daily operational activities.
- Responsible of the warehouse manpower schedule arrangements.
- Provides real time solutions for any discrepancy.
- Ensures warehouse SOP and operating procedures are implemented.
- Work closely with other departments in solving issues.
- Effectively manage cost control - labor costs, logistics, warehouse costs, financial budgets, etc. Make appropriate adjustments according to the company’s development plan.
- Coordinates with procurement of loading and unloading activities.
- Evaluates operational assets and requests.
- Consolidates MRF and POP requests.
- Performs Quantity and Quality checking.
