Key Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and process export customs declarations and shipping documentation.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin, as applicable.
Encode shipment details into customs systems and other relevant electronic platforms.
Ensure compliance with customs laws, export regulations, and international trade requirements.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities regarding export shipments.
Monitor the status of export declarations and ensure timely submission and processing.
Verify shipment information, commodity descriptions, tariff classifications, and other required details.
Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies, customs queries, and shipment delays.
Maintain accurate records and files of export transactions and supporting documents.
Perform other duties related to export documentation and logistics as assigned.
