Schemes Management and Settlement Officer

Corporate Title : Junior Officer
Work Arrangement: On-site
- Review disputed transactions, chargeback reason codes, and supporting documents against card scheme rules to prevent losses and approve first‑level chargeback resolutions.
- Recommend and prepare dispute escalations, financial adjustments, and journal entries, and coordinate cardholder updates for dispute progression.
- Validate correctness of advisories and notifications to be sent to cardholders on dispute status/ resolution or final disposition
- Check monthly schedules and monitors disposition and provide status of floats items
- Participates in the user acceptance testing for MC and Visa Compliance testing to avert penalties on non-compliance
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in any business course
- At least 2 years relevant experience in credit card chargeback/dispute processing
- Strong knowledge of business operations, risk management, accounting, and credit card systems, including Ascend and any other credit card systems
- Proficient in systems and data analysis, with advanced analytical and investigative skills.
- Deep expertise in Mastercard and Visa chargeback rules and end‑to‑end dispute processing.
- Effective communicator with strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and customer focus.
