Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Modelling and Risk Analytics Manager.

In this role, you will lead a team of Junior Modelling and Risk Analytics Officers in delivering advanced analytics, credit risk models (including ECL, scorecards, and propensity models), and portfolio performance insights across the consumer lending business to support underwriting, portfolio management, collections, and strategic decision-making. You will oversee model performance monitoring, validation and recalibration, expected credit loss forecasting, and portfolio risk forecasting, ensuring accurate risk assessment, optimal risk-reward outcomes, and alignment with business targets.

What the role will entail

• Lead the development, validation, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring of risk scorecards, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) models, and other predictive models across consumer lending portfolios, ensuring strong predictive capability and alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define data requirements, assess internal and external risk drivers, and translate modeling initiatives into system enhancements, user testing, and successful business adoption.
• Design and execute portfolio segmentation, credit risk, and collections strategies that optimize risk-reward outcomes, improve portfolio quality, and enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Develop, manage, and evaluate Champion-Challenger testing programs, using data-driven insights to recommend strategy enhancements, broader implementation, or program termination.
• Lead ECL model development, validation, recalibration, and forecasting activities, incorporating portfolio trends, macroeconomic factors, management overlays, and emerging risks to support accurate provisioning and impairment estimates.
• Deliver portfolio performance reporting, collections forecasting, regulatory and management reporting, and process automation initiatives that improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
• Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing analytics team by driving performance, building leadership capability, strengthening succession pipelines, and supporting continuous learning and career growth.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in credit risk management, portfolio analytics, lending operations, or consumer finance within the banking industry.
• Strong expertise across the credit lifecycle, including credit processing and approvals, collections management, portfolio management, and risk strategy development.
• Proven experience in model governance and management, including model development, validation, implementation, performance monitoring, and recalibration.
• Deep understanding of consumer credit risk models, regulatory requirements, and industry standards governing the development, validation, and use of predictive and risk models.
