Quantity Surveyor

1. Cost Estimation and Budgeting - Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Develop project cost plans and budgets.
2. Contract and Procurement Management
- Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, bid documents, and tender submissions.
- Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations.
- Participate in procurement and subcontractor selection.
3. Cost Control and Monitoring
- Monitor project costs and track expenditures against the approved budget.
- Prepare cost reports and financial forecasts.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
4. Project Documentation
- Prepare billing, progress claims, and payment certificates.
- Review contractor billing and verify quantities completed.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and documentation.
5. Variation and Change Order Management
- Evaluate and process variation orders and change requests.
- Assess financial impact of design changes or site conditions.
6. Coordination and Reporting
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
- Provide financial updates and reports to management.
