The MEPFS Quantity Surveyo r is responsible for managing all costs related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary (MEPFS) works. The role ensures that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for MEPFS works
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare and evaluate bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Monitor project budgets and track project costs.
- Prepare progress billings, variation orders, and cost reports.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative analyses.
- Conduct site inspections and verify accomplishments for billing.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assist in contract administration and claims preparation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying for MEPFS works.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
- Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
- Ability to read and interpret MEPFS drawings and technical documents.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
