REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

Open to Filipino and Filipino-Chinese candidates who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Mandarin and English.
Must be a licensed attorney in at least one jurisdiction.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the related field.
Preferably with 1–4 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and review.
Strong ability to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize tasks, including monitoring processes, deliverables, and related documentation.
Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly and accurately analyze information, assess issues, and make sound decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and open to peer review processes.
Proficient in using computers and business tools, including CLM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts (e.g., NDA, MSA, SOW, licensing agreements).
Perform contract abstraction by extracting key legal terms, clauses, and obligations.
Identify legal risks, inconsistencies, and compliance issues within contracts.
Ensure all documents comply with client requirements and legal standards.
Translate and interpret legal documents between Mandarin and English when required.
Maintain accurate legal records and update contract management systems.
Support contract lifecycle management and legal operations processes.
Collaborate with global legal teams and stakeholders across different regions.
Assist in legal projects such as contract migration, audits, and due diligence.
