Warehouse Junior Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of products. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively and ensure a smooth workflow within the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures
• Conduct regular audits to monitor stock levels, track product movements, and prevent discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels.
• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Implement best practices for the handling and storage of goods to preserve product quality.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of responsibilities.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Enforce quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of products during storage and transportation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any product quality issues promptly.
• Liaise with various departments, such as procurement, production, and transportation, to streamline processes and resolve any operational challenges.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries

Qualifications:

• With Bachelor’s Degree in Operations/Business and/or in any related field
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, preferably in the frozen food industry.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for handling frozen goods.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
