Warehouse Supervisor

Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
- Delegate tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
Inventory Control:
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and distribution of goods.
- Ensure inventory levels are maintained and accurate.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Shipping and Receiving:
- Coordinate and monitor the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Ensure proper documentation (e.g., bills of lading, packing lists, etc.) for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work with other departments (sales, purchasing, etc.) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to reduce the risk of injury or accidents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, industry standards, and company policies.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Implement new systems and technologies to streamline warehouse operations.
- Resolve operational challenges and improve workflow.
Equipment Management:
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and report any issues for repair.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
