POSITION: Production Engineer SECTION/GROUP: BEA/Production REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for supervising and managing subordinates involved in one or more of the product lines, such as assembly, testing, inspection, and repair. Ensures product lines are ready to respond to production requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervises and manages subordinates and their activities to measure performance based on standards, behavior, and disciplines to respond to production requirements.

2. Implements the production schedule, monitors, and regulates production input and output to meet shipment schedules. Makes the necessary adjustments.

3. Ensures that maximum productivity from materials and equipment is met; keep to a minimum level of wastage of materials, man-hours, and power consumption.

4. Supports the Process Engineer in the conduct of line evaluation and computation of material consumption.

5. Ensures the compliance of production personnel with established and approved work standards, processes, and safety requirements.
