Structural Engineer

Description - Designs, analyzes, and inspects structures like buildings and bridges to ensure they are safe, stable, and comply with building codes.
- Create technical plans, calculate load-bearing capacities, select materials, and collaborate with architects and contractors to oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
- Create 2D/3D structural models and designs using software like AutoCAD or Revit, and calculate, loads, stresses, and material strengths.
- Inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Work with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to develop plans and resolve design, material, or construction challenges.
- Prepare technical reports, blueprints, and cost estimates for projects.
- Assess existing buildings for structural integrity, repairs, or retrofitting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Strong understanding of physics, mathematics, and building codes.
- Experience with CAD software, modeling tools, and structural analysis programs.
