Description
The High Voltage Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, testing, safety, and grid compliance of all high voltage electrical equipment and systems associated with the 69 kV grid interconnection of the solar power plant.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- Experience Level: 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experienced in HV Testing instruments
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Power System analysis and design, Solar energy systems, System Design methodologies
- Qualities and Traits: Excellent communication skills, Strong problem-solving abilities, Ability to manage operations
- Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare project documentation and technical reports
- Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
