Associate Manager

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading education and publishing company. Our respective client is seeking for an Associate Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving the growth, market share, and profitability of two business units. This position is also responsible for developing and executing tailored marketing strategies aligned with the commercial objectives of each business unit, while serving as a strategic marketing partner to the respective Business Unit General Managers. The ideal candidate will be highly strategic and data-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maximize resources, and deliver impactful marketing campaigns in a fast-paced, matrix organization. This role will have a hybrid work arrangement in Quezon City and will be reporting to the Business Unit General Managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for two business units, ensuring alignment with business goals and revenue targets.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, events, and activations from planning through execution.
- Strengthen brand positioning by ensuring consistent messaging and market presence across all customer touchpoints.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities and optimize product positioning.
- Recommend pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and market adoption.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing initiatives, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring timely campaign delivery.
- Identify opportunities for cross-portfolio collaboration and marketing synergies to improve efficiency and maximize return on investment.
- Partner closely with Business Unit leaders, Sales, Creative, and other cross functional teams to develop impactful marketing initiatives and sales enablement materials.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor campaign performance, and evaluate ROI to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Track key marketing metrics such as conversion rates, customer acquisition, engagement, and campaign effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations to strengthen brand visibility and support customer acquisition.
- Recommend marketing technologies and automation tools that improve campaign execution, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
- Perform other marketing and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP), Portfolio Management, or Strategic Marketing are an advantage.
- At least 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably handling multiple brands, business units, or product portfolios.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strong background in brand management, market analysis, pricing strategy, and campaign performance optimization.
- Experience working in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders is highly preferred.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
- Ability to prioritize competing business demands while delivering high-quality marketing initiatives.
