Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Accounting or financial reporting experience is preferred; CPA certification is not required.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in financial, data, and process analysis.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle financial data accurately.
Job Description
Job Summary
The Financial Analyst will provide support to the Plan to Report Department in financial reporting, account reconciliation, budget preparation, cost allocation, and financial consolidation. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, supporting regulatory disclosures, and assisting with budgeting and financial planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate bankwide Monthly Performance Report (MPR) actuals and balance sheet reports.
- Perform financial balancing, reconciliation, and data validation activities.
- Consolidate year-end financial reports for the bank, business segments, and enabling units.
- Generate Business Warehouse (BW) reports and data extracts by business segment.
- Prepare segment information disclosures for SEC Form 17Q.
- Compile and summarize indicative and final cost allocation results.
- Review and populate bankwide budget templates and update budget presentation materials for the President and SBC Board.
- Provide administrative support for the Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).
- Conduct quarterly Chart of Accounts (COA) reviews and review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents for approval and sign-off.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to collect, verify, and consolidate financial information.
- Identify discrepancies, resolve reporting issues, and recommend improvements to financial reporting and budgeting processes.
