Financial Reporting Lead

- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare financial reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure reports follow Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and applicable regulations.
- Answer questions and resolve concerns from internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Review new accounting standards and determine how they affect the bank’s financial reports.
- Ensure unusual or complex financial transactions are recorded and reported correctly.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and properly prepared.
- Check that financial data matches the bank’s General Ledger (GL) and supporting records.
- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in financial data.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Help prevent errors, fraud, and inaccurate financial reporting.
- Participate in special projects involving mergers, debt issuance, new systems, and accounting changes.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, including BSP and SGV, when applicable.
- Provide requested documents and information during audits.
- Address audit findings and resolve issues related to financial reporting.
- Help establish service standards and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Coordinate with other departments, supervisors, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Communicate reporting issues promptly and ensure they are resolved.
- Explain how changes in regulations, accounting standards, and sustainability requirements may affect financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve problems affecting the quality and accuracy of financial data.
- Improve reporting procedures to make them faster and more efficient.
- Help reduce turnaround time (TAT) for financial reporting tasks.
- Support month-end closing activities and manual accounting adjustments.
- Implement changes that improve the bank’s reporting systems and processes.
