Multimedia Artist

Job Purpose

The Multimedia Artist is responsible for creating high-quality visual and multimedia content that strengthens brand identity and supports marketing, advertising, digital, and business objectives. This role combines creativity with technical expertise in graphic design, branding, packaging design, video editing, and motion graphics to produce engaging content across multiple platforms. The Multimedia Artist collaborates with marketing, creative, and business teams to ensure all visual materials maintain brand consistency while effectively communicating key messages.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design creative assets for digital and print marketing campaigns.
• Create logos, brand identities, and visual branding guidelines for various brands and products.
• Develop marketing collaterals including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Design social media graphics, advertisements, website banners, and other digital marketing creatives.
• Create product visuals and e-commerce assets for online marketplaces and websites.
• Design product packaging, including boxes, labels, stickers, pouches, sleeves, hangtags, and other packaging materials.
• Prepare print-ready artwork with proper understanding of dielines, bleeds, margins, and print production requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of brand identity across packaging, marketing materials, and digital platforms.
• Edit short-form videos for social media, advertisements, product promotions, and brand campaigns.
• Produce motion graphics, animated text, transitions, simple product animations, and visual effects for marketing content.
• Perform photo editing, retouching, and product image enhancement as needed.
• Develop campaign visuals that align with business goals and marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand creative briefs, project requirements, and marketing objectives.
• Present creative concepts and provide design recommendations that enhance brand communication.
• Revise creative work based on feedback while maintaining quality and project timelines.
• Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated on current design trends, branding strategies, and multimedia technologies.

Qualifications / Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Advertising, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Multimedia Artist, Graphic Designer, Motion Graphics Designer, Video Editor, Brand Designer, or in a similar creative role.

• Box, label, sticker, pouch, sleeve, and hangtag design
• Print-ready artwork preparation
• Dielines, bleeds, margins, and print production standards
• Ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple marketing and packaging materials.
• Skilled in video editing for short-form content including social media posts, advertisements, reels, and promotional videos.
• Experience creating motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, simple animations, and marketing visual effects.
• Proficient in:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Canva
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools is an advantage.

• Experience in photo editing, retouching, product photography enhancement, and campaign visual development.
• Familiarity with digital marketing creatives, including Facebook Ads, Instagram content, TikTok/Reels, website banners, landing page visuals, and sales materials.
