SAP Business Analyst S&D

Position Summary:
The SAP S&D BUSINESS ANALYSTis accountable for investigating the client's information needs according to the SAP Sales and Distribution area. The business analyst will provide a high level of creative and innovative thinking to plan, design, and deliver solutions within the SAP Sales system that meet the clients requirements.

In addition, the Business Analyst will promote and monitor the effective use of information resources and be able to deliver efficiency gains to the existing production system. The business analyst may act as a project manager of production systems development projects as required.

What are the primary responsibilities of the Role?

The Sales & Distribution Business Analyst is accountable for:

• The effective delivery of professional solutions based upon requirements gathered from the end customer
• Collaborating with internal resources and external vendors to provide solutions that will maintain or enhance the clients' ERP systems
• Participate in project planning and implementation phases
• Maintaining documentation pertaining to functional solutions written in a professional manner
• Give end users assistance and training on SAP S&D features. Documenting final solutions at a level that the client can comprehend and become comfortable with
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily support issues and requests efficiently, minimizing the number of tickets.
• Assisting management where possible to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and morale within the incumbent's team
• Stay updated on new features and best practices in SAP.

Experience & Qualifications:

Mandatory (critical for the Role)

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Firsthand SAP Sales and Distribution support and development solutions within specified SLAs
• Knowledge/awareness of commercial & IT business best practice
• Multiple projects/activities management
• Ability to articulate and provide specialist advice in a complex environment
• Effective testing/quality control management
• Working knowledge of change control processes and impacts

Key Technical Skills

Skills (Technical, Business, Leadership):

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an SAP SD Analyst
• Understanding of relevant modulesstrong knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution system development and architecture with the capability to identify, research and evaluate best-fit solutions
• Research and analytical skillsdemonstrated ability in business analysis inclusive of, but not limited to, process analysis, requirements gathering, scoping and documentation of technical effort
• Business process review and re-engineeringability to identify and develop new approaches, drive changes and produce creative solutions
• Internal consulting and advisory ability to understand customer needs and requirements, identify opportunities for efficiencies and communicate these as appropriate
• Effective communicationexcellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate and convey information concisely
• Technology awarenessgood understanding of systems development and ability to identify, research and evaluate new technologies
• Knowledge of EDI/IDOC interfaces
