Medical Virtual Assistant

Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate, submit, and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and diagnostic services
- Utilize eClinicalWorks (ECW) for documentation, appointment management, and updating patient records
- Conduct high-volume phone communication with patients, providers, and insurance representatives, ensuring clear and professional interactions
- Perform accurate data entry , including the input and verification of medical codes and related information
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of all activities
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards
- Support administrative and clinical workflows as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience handling prior authorizations (required)
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or similar EHR systems (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to manage phone-based tasks professionally
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy, including familiarity with medical codes
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Previous experience in a medical, healthcare, or clinical support role is an advantage
