The team you will be part of

Our Merchandising & Creative Team brings brands and products to life through compelling visuals and on-brand storytelling. From graphic design and content creation to product presentation and campaign assets, the team crafts experiences that captivate and convert. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong understanding of digital commerce, we transform ideas into visuals that drive engagement, elevate brands, and enhance the online shopping journey.

The part you will play

We are looking for a creative, tech-forward, and detail-oriented Merchandising Associate to deliver exceptional shopping experiences across e-commerce and social commerce. In this role, you will lead merchandising initiatives across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other platforms by optimizing storefronts, enhancing customer engagement, and identifying growth opportunities through data and consumer insights.

You will also help shape livestream experiences by planning merchandising strategies, leveraging AI to create scalable scripts, and defining product presentation and visual merchandising approaches. Working closely with Commercial, Livestream Production, Graphic Design, and Content teams, you will create engaging shopping experiences that strengthen brand perception and drive commercial performance.

As an E-commerce Merchandising Associate, you will take in charge of:

1. Livestream Merchandising Strategy & Execution

• Develop end-to-end merchandising strategies that define the overall livestream experience, including content flow, storytelling, customer journey, engagement mechanics, and conversion drivers.
• Leverage generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to create, refine, and optimize scalable livestream scripts while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and customer insights.
• Define the visual merchandising direction for livestreams by recommending studio concepts, product presentation, props, lighting, and overall set design that reinforce brand identity.
• Develop and optimize livestream frame layouts, information hierarchy, promotional messaging, and motion graphics to create premium, shopper-friendly experiences.
• Conduct regular audits across visual merchandising, studio execution, production quality, and overall customer experience. Identify opportunities to elevate livestream execution and establish premium best practices. 
• Monitor livestream performance metrics, customer engagement, and shopper behavior to continuously refine merchandising strategies, AI prompting, scripts, and creative execution.

2. E-Commerce & Social Commerce Merchandising

• Create merchandising strategies that improve product discoverability, customer engagement, and conversion across storefronts, product pages, livestreams, and social commerce touchpoints.
• Improve storefront layouts, campaign pages, banner sequencing, navigation, and visual hierarchy to deliver seamless shopping experiences across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces.
• Perform regular audits across e-commerce storefronts and social commerce channels to ensure merchandising standards, campaign readiness, and execution quality while identifying optimization opportunities.
• Track merchandising performance, customer engagement, and commercial metrics while conducting competitor and category benchmarking to identify emerging trends and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Key Account Management, Graphic Design, Content, Production, and Social Commerce teams to bring merchandising strategies to life and deliver cohesive customer experiences.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in e-commerce, social commerce, livestreaming, AI, and visual merchandising. Introduce new tools, technologies, and best practices that improve execution quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Visual Communication, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, digital marketing, campaign planning, livestream, or related roles
• Good understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok) and content management systems
• Strong sense of visual merchandising and understanding of what makes for a compelling online shopping experience
• Curious and adaptable in exploring emerging AI technologies, with experience using AI tools to enhance content development, data analysis, or process efficiency considered an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
• Strong command of Excel, including the ability to create and work with complex formulas for data analysis and reporting.
• Creative flair and passion for visual storytelling, with an eye for design and aesthetics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and can effectively interface with cross-functional teams and articulate strategies and ideas clearly
• A keen interest in the latest e-commerce, digital marketing, and merchandising trends to stay competitive and innovative
