Operations Manager - MEPFS

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the overall operational activities of the organization, including the performance and output of project engineers, project managers. The role focuses on streamlining processes, implementing efficiency improvements, and ensuring effective execution of mechanical projects (e.g., HVAC, Ducting, Piping, Fabrication). The Operations Manager also plays a strategic role in enhancing interdepartmental collaboration, monitoring branch operations, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
1. Project Oversight & Execution
- Supervise the planning and execution of mechanical projects to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and client satisfaction.
- Support project teams in resolving technical or logistical issues.
- Monitor project progress and provide performance feedback to team leaders
2. Project Team Management
- Directly oversee and guide Project Engineers, Project Managers, QA/QC Engineers, Field Engineers, and Document Controllers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, project team meetings, and coaching to maintain productivity and morale.
- Assist in manpower planning and resource allocation across multiple sites and branches.
3. Process Improvement & Standardization
- Identify inefficiencies in operations and implement improvements across the organization.
- Develop and roll out company-wide procedures, tools, or systems to enhance productivity and project consistency.
- Evaluate and update internal operational protocols regularly.
4. Project Costing and Profitability
- Analyze project budgets versus actual costs; flag overspending and cost inefficiencies.
- Work with project leads to ensure costs are aligned with estimates and profit targets.
- Contribute to cost-control strategies during project planning and execution.
- Align cash flow planning with project schedules and payment terms.
5. Branch Oversight
- Monitor and support the operational activities of various branches to ensure alignment with central office goals.
- Conduct site visits to audit branch performance and identify areas for support or intervention.
- Coordinate resource distribution between branches to optimize operational flow.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Serve as the key person between operations and top management for performance reporting, issue escalation, and strategic planning.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational KPIs, challenges, and initiatives.
7. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all operations follow company standards, industry codes, and legal requirements.
- Work with QA/QC teams to uphold safety and quality benchmarks in field execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5–10 years of experience in operations or project management within the mechanical contracting or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Has knowledge in HVAC and Mechanical Works
- Willing to commute or relocate within Muntinlupa City
