Assistant/Translator (Chinese To English)

Job Description
We are seeking a Translator & Assistant who can perform dual functions—providing translation and administrative/assistant support for engineering-related projects. The ideal candidate is fluent in Chinese and English and has experience in engineering projects, preferably reclamation projects, as the role involves specialized technical terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate technical documents, reports, and communications between Chinese and English.
- Assist project managers and engineers with project coordination and documentation.
- Prepare and organize engineering reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Ensure accurate use of technical and engineering terminology in translations.
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks and project-related activities.
- Attend project meetings and provide real-time translation if required.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
- Experience in engineering projects; reclamation projects preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail in translation and technical documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant project software.
