Outbound Sales | Cold Caller (Staffing Agency)

OVERVIEW:

The Client is an Australian-based outsourcing and remote staffing company that helps small business owners build dedicated offshore teams in the Philippines. ROVR Outsourcing partners with industries including bookkeeping, trades, recruitment, and professional services, with a strong focus on providing high-quality staffing solutions while maintaining a hands-on, relationship-driven approach.

This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities through high-volume outbound cold calling to Australian small business owners. The position focuses on starting genuine conversations, qualifying prospects, and booking discovery meetings for the Founder. The role is highly performance-driven and best suited for someone who thrives in outbound sales, handles rejection well, and can build rapport naturally without sounding scripted or overly corporate.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
• Make 60+ outbound cold calls per day to Australian SMB owners
• Engage decision-makers in industries such as bookkeeping, trades, recruitment, and professional services
• Build rapport quickly and create genuine conversations with prospects
• Book 5–8 qualified discovery meetings per week for the Founder
• Handle objections professionally and confidently during cold calls
• Follow the company’s outbound sales playbook and communication style

CRM & Administrative Tasks
• Log all calls, outcomes, and notes into GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM daily
• Send same-day follow-up emails after all meaningful conversations
• Complete detailed handoff notes for every booked meeting
• Submit weekly activity reports every Friday
• Maintain accurate and organized CRM records with no exceptions

Training & Continuous Improvement
• Participate in regular coaching sessions and call reviews
• Complete sales training and coaching activities provided by the business
• Apply feedback and continuously improve objection handling and call performance
• Contribute to improving processes and sales conversations where appropriate

APPLICATIONS & PLATFORMS:
• GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM or similar CRM platforms
• Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
• VOIP / Dialer Systems
• Email Communication Platforms

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven outbound cold calling experience with high daily call volume
• Excellent spoken English with a neutral and professional communication style
• Comfortable speaking directly with business owners and decision-makers
• Strong objection handling and relationship-building skills
• Resilient and able to handle rejection consistently while maintaining energy and professionalism
• Strong discipline with CRM logging and administrative follow-through
• Highly coachable and willing to follow structured sales systems and playbooks
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven
• Ability to work independently and manage daily activity targets effectively
• Experience calling Australian, US, or UK markets is highly preferred
• Experience in outsourcing, offshoring, BPO, or appointment setting is an advantage
• Candidates with heavily scripted or overly corporate sales styles may not be suitable for this role

• 60+ outbound calls completed daily
• 8–10 quality conversations with decision-makers per day
• 5–8 qualified meetings booked weekly
• Accurate and fully updated CRM records daily
• Consistent weekly activity reporting
• Improvement in objection handling and conversion performance over time
• Contribution to new client seat placements through booked meetings
