Job Description
The Nursing Professor is responsible for delivering quality nursing education through classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and student assessment. The position involves preparing instructional materials, guiding students in developing nursing competencies, and ensuring that teaching activities align with the institution's academic standards and curriculum
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other instructional activities in nursing subjects.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
- Conduct examinations, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Supervise students during clinical duties and laboratory activities, as applicable.
- Guide students in developing proper nursing skills, professional ethics, and patient care practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic activities, and curriculum development.
- Ensure that teaching practices comply with institutional policies and applicable academic standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
- Must have a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Must have 2–3 years of relevant teaching or nursing experience.
- Must possess strong communication, classroom management, and instructional skills.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of nursing theories, principles, and current practices.
- Must be organized, responsible, and committed to student learning.
