- A Gasoline Attendant is responsible for providing high-quality customer service at a fuel station. Their duties include assisting customers with fueling their vehicles, ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the fueling area, and managing transactions. They may also perform basic maintenance tasks and offer additional services like checking oil levels or washing windshields.
- Fueling Vehicles: Safely and efficiently fueling customer vehicles according to established safety guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with additional services.
- Payment Handling: Process payments for fuel and other services, including cash, card transactions, or digital payments.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor fueling operations to prevent spills and ensure proper safety protocols are followed, including maintaining emergency equipment.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the fueling area, pumps, and surrounding facilities clean and organized.
- Additional Services: Perform basic vehicle maintenance services like checking tire pressure, oil levels, or windshield wiper fluid levels.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that fuel dispensers are operating properly, and report any issues or maintenance needs to management.
- Stocking and Restocking: Ensure that fuel station convenience stores are stocked with essential items like snacks, drinks, and car care products.
- Safety Inspections: Perform regular checks on fuel dispensers and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.

- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a gas station setting.
- Skills and Qualifications:

- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all safety procedures are followed and maintaining cleanliness.
- Basic Math Skills: For handling transactions, making change, and ensuring proper fuel measurements.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks such as cleaning and stocking.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of fueling equipment and maintenance tasks is helpful.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve customer issues or service-related concerns quickly.

- Reliable and Punctual: Consistently shows up for shifts on time.
- Safety-Oriented: Understanding of and commitment to safety practices in a potentially hazardous environment.
