Truck Driver

- Operate trailer trucks safely and efficiently for the transport of goods, materials, and equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes while maintaining timely arrivals and departures.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, incidents, and maintenance requirements immediately.
- Observe all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and operational concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Assist in other transportation and logistics-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
- Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate restriction/code for trailer truck operation.
- At least 2 years of proven experience driving trailer trucks, tractor heads, or articulated vehicles.
- Familiar with defensive driving techniques and road safety regulations.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance travel and extended driving hours.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- No major traffic violations or serious driving-related offenses.
