Warehouse Assistant

Receiving and Storage:
- Unloading and unpacking incoming deliveries.
- Verifying items against purchase orders and delivery receipts/sales invoices.
- Inspecting items for damage or discrepancies.
- Storing items in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and placement on the stock card.
- Performing inventory checks and maintaining accurate records.
Order Fulfillment:
- Picking and packing items for site orders.
- Preparing orders for outbound transfer, including labeling and packaging.
- Operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks (if trained and certified)
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
General Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse.
- Following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory control and physical counts.
- Bachelor’s Degree / Vocational Courses
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the construction industry or logistics-related fields is often sufficient.
- Prior experience of using Outlook or other MS Office packages is required
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Willing to start as soon as possible.
