Job Description

Plant Accounting and Business Partnering

• Partner with business leaders to support operational and financial performance.
• Prepare journals, month-end reports, and variance analysis (budget, forecast, prior periods).
• Monitor labour costs, vendor spend, inventory, and manufacturing variances.
• Analyse product costing, cost-saving initiatives, and Cost Per Unit (CPU).
• Perform SAP month-end settlements and support intercompany transactions.
• Assist with CAPEX evaluations, Supply Chain reporting, and P&L reviews.
• Ensure SOX compliance, maintain internal controls, and support lease, R&D, and external product accounting.
• Monitor working capital and inventory performance while providing ad hoc financial analysis.

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Long-Range Plan (LRP)

• Prepare plant budgets, cost centre budgets, and annual cost roll analysis.
• Support COGS guidance, CAPEX planning, inventory planning, and DOH targets.
• Participate in AOP/LRP planning, reviews, and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA/CPA preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in finance, with strong Supply Chain Finance and FP&A expertise
• Strong systems capability
  • SAP & Blackline, OneStream, Hyperion Smart View, Power BI, and advanced Excel)
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, costing, and internal controls (SOX)
• Demonstrated ability to drive change, standardisation, and continuous improvement
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
• Proven costing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong proficiency in English
