Purpose
The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving business growth by securing partnerships with key distributors and retail channels. This role focuses on expanding market presence, closing high-value deals, and executing go-to-market strategies while ensuring strong collaboration between the client and local partners.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leverage existing network to secure partnerships with Tier-1 distributors (e.g., Federated, DPPI, and similar)
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within major distribution and retail channels
- Lead business development efforts to expand market presence in the Philippines
- Negotiate and close high-value distribution deals
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product placement
- Act as a bridge between the client and local distributors/retailers
- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and recommendations for growth
- Drive revenue generation and ensure timely execution of sales initiatives
Qualifications/ Requirements of the job
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, distribution, or key account management
- Strong, existing network within Tier-1 distributors and retail channels in the Philippines
- Demonstrated track record of closing distribution or large-scale B2B deals
- Deep understanding of local market dynamics and retail landscape
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly proactive, results-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Preferably with experience working with premium or international brands
