Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator supports the operations team by managing administrative tasks, monitoring project schedules, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently, and fostering communication across departments. They play a crucial role in streamlining processes and ensuring organizational objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support:
- Organize and maintain operational documents, records, and files.
- Prepare and distribute reports, schedules, and other documentation.
2. Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication.
- Facilitate team meetings and provide updates on project progress.
3. Process and Workflow Management:
- Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
4. Resource Allocation:
- Track inventory, supplies, or resources needed for projects.
- Coordinate schedules and assignments for team members or departments.
5. Project Support:
- Assist with planning and implementing new initiatives or projects.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are met.
6. Problem-Solving:
- Address operational issues promptly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2+ years in an operational, administrative, or coordination role.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools).
- Ability to analyze data and create actionable insights.
