Job Summary
We are looking for a CPA Fresh Graduate to join our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is eager to learn and apply accounting principles, standards, and best practices. This role involves assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and assist in tax compliance and filing requirements
- Help maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documents
- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other regulatory requirements
- Support other finance-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (fresh passers are welcome)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (PAS/IFRS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
