Junior Accountant

The Accountant provides dual support by ensuring the accuracy of financial and operational transactions while assisting the management team in daily administrative and executive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Support audits and internal controls.
- Prepare tax filings and other required financial documentation.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Communicate financial results to management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency with accounting software Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
